This piece is sort of an inside cosmic joke for all the other women who love to hate their periods. A little humour goes a long way into making some things bearable.
 And now...the weather forecast: Looks like a low warm front moving in will cause some precipitation. Expect it to start off light with heavier showers in the evening. A little bit further north expect some microbursts scattered with sunshine. (We call this DMS--During Menstruation Syndrome.) Expect similar weather all week, tapering gradually away into milder conditions. This Monthly Monsoon broadcast has been brought to you by Tampax.
