Description
Made this for Remembrance Day/Veteran's Day of 2007.
The poem is by Canadian soldier, John McCrae, written after he saw his friend killed in the first World War, or the Great War, as it was first known.
Poppies are used in Canada and parts of Europe and the US to symbolise the losses of our troops during the first World War, and to commemorate the sacrifices of our veterans.
